Seasoned Reporter Nicole Grigg On The C.O.B.R.A. Active Shooter Response Plan

“I have not only heard countless articles of what to do if there’s an active shooter, but I have reported on them too. It’s the same story each and every time…However, today was different. Today, I actually learned something. This isn’t your prestigious Emmy story, this isn’t your investigative report, this isn’t the story of moving mountains or interviewing a murderer. Instead, its a story that could truly save your life.”

C.O.B.R.A. Self-Defense teaches schools, businesses and people how to respond in an active shooter situation.

A 15-step comprehensive course goes beyond the tips of telling you to run, hide and engage.

Sutton has a law enforcement background and is able to use specific training to teach people important steps to escaping. He is the creator of C.O.B.R.A. Defense and the trains instructors around the world in these same principal tactics.

“The last thing you want to do is nothing. That creates a victim,” said Chris Sutton, owner of COBRA Self-Defense Systems.

“Law enforcement will not be there,” said Sutton. “We train people to be their own first respondents.”
